Happy Holidays!!!!!

This year will be the first year that my husband and I have had a real Christmas tree! We have lived together for a year and I never thought about decorating for the holidays until Thanksgiving hit. Our apartment is pretty small with limited storage and I really didn't want to go all out and buy all kinds of decorations. So this year I made the majority of them! I did go out and buy some cheap plastic ornaments for the tree though. (you will probably see them in the pics below)

I thought I would share a couple of home-made ornaments I created.

I made these using the same technique...just like making a pom-pom. They remind me of snowballs.

I made these with clay.

My husband was the inspiration for these, he actually came up with the idea and made the first one! They are real peppers from our garden. Some were green but all of them are red/turning red now. Pretty unique huh?

This is a brooch from a ball dress. I broke it on accident at the USMC ball and thought it would look nice on the tree...it is a little heavy though.

I made these with left over beads I had and some jewelry stuff
