It has been awhile since I have posted anything on here. I haven't really had any time to do any projects lately, but the one I have been working on (that seemed like it took forever!) for the past couple of weeks is this. Hand painted wine bottles. A cherry blossom tree that stretches across all of the bottles. I have never done anything like this before, but I figured it would be a interesting turn-out. It ended up being a very beautiful piece, I can't decide if I want to keep it like it is or but a glossy finish on it. I am willing to sell this as well! Contact me for price! House Finch (Finchie)

Ok so since my husband and I have moved we noticed a lot of birds in the area where we live. We started feeding them, and I never knew I would end up bird watching out of my patio door! All kinds of breeds of birds have shown up from humming birds to hawks.  Then I started noticing this bird hanging around (and his whole flock..lol). They were so bright and orange, and I have never seen such a small orange bird. My husband and I just started calling all of them "finchies" not knowing what kind of bird they actually were. I finally Googled it and found out they actually were House Finches!  But anyway, they are so cute and I have fell in love with them so I decided to paint one, and I LOVE it! I will sell this, but not anytime soon. It is painted with oils so I need to give it a good while to dry, and plus I would like to admire it a bit longer. hehe.
