Thought this would be lovely to share. Its a family tree...literally haha. It is my husbands hand along with mine (I bet you cant guess which one is which) It represents us as a family and as we grow together, I also I left some space in the middle...for the future.. :) This painting is hanging in our bedroom, I thought that was a good place to hang it, being that it represents us.   <3

House Finch (Finchie)

Ok so since my husband and I have moved we noticed a lot of birds in the area where we live. We started feeding them, and I never knew I would end up bird watching out of my patio door! All kinds of breeds of birds have shown up from humming birds to hawks.  Then I started noticing this bird hanging around (and his whole flock..lol). They were so bright and orange, and I have never seen such a small orange bird. My husband and I just started calling all of them "finchies" not knowing what kind of bird they actually were. I finally Googled it and found out they actually were House Finches!  But anyway, they are so cute and I have fell in love with them so I decided to paint one, and I LOVE it! I will sell this, but not anytime soon. It is painted with oils so I need to give it a good while to dry, and plus I would like to admire it a bit longer. hehe.

New Addition to My Family

Meet Oreo! Our new Boston Terrier puppy! He is only 5 months old. We have had him for a month almost, and I am completely in love! He is quite the character and finds new ways to make me laugh every single day. You will be seeing many more pictures of him, trust me.
